Today, the 5th and 7th grade SAIL had the opportunity to help the Salvation Army with their toy drive. There were a lot of toys and clothes to organize! Students also bagged the gifts and helped carry the items to people's cars! It was rewarding to help others!

🎉💜 CHEERLEADER OF THE WEEK: MARYANN! 💜🎉
Give it up for MaryAnn — the girl who shows up ready to SLAY every single practice! She’s got the sweetest smile, the sneakiest sass, and the kind of energy that can make everyone happy!
MaryAnn works hard, cheers louder, and brings major sparkle to everything she does. Whether she’s hitting skills, hyping up her teammates, or just being her amazing self, she makes our team better every day.
Keep shining, MaryAnn — you’re on FIRE this week! 🔥✨

Over 100 million Christmas crabs travel to the coast to lay their eggs on Christmas Island. This 5 mile trip can take up to a month where the crabs travel through forests and roads. During CCT, the 1st & 2nd grade engineers were tasked to design and build a bridge for vehicles to drive over to prevent running over the crabs. These were some of Mrs. Bear's builds!

Kindergarteners are learning about snowflakes. In today's CCT class, Mrs. Culver's group rotated three stations to observe snowflakes with magnifying glasses, measure snowflakes with cubes, and design a snowflake with shapes. Lots of hands-on learning took place!

The AGWSR High School Computer Science students recently hosted a "Mock Career Fair" based on Technology Innovations. Each partnership was tasked with immersing themselves in a chosen technology innovation, creating a business based on that innovation and producing a career fair booth to present their business/tech. innovation to an unknown audience.
Fair Booths included: AI in Forensics, AI in Security and Automation, Autonomous Vehicles, Cybersecurity, AI in Radiology, and Digital Twinning.
We would like to thank all of the community participants who came in and experienced the hard work of our students through 1:1 Q&A's, observing presentations and scoring. Of course, like any good technology conference booth (even a mock one)... candy was included at each stop!
