AGWSR Middle School would like to congratulate the students who were nominated for Lead Cougar for November and December. Each of these students has shown the Cougar Way, and their leadership in following the Cougar Way is part of what makes our community special!

Due to illnesses, the Cougar Connection meeting has been postponed to January 20th at 6:00pm. Thank you for understanding.

Congratulations to our Q2 Middle School Honor Roll Students.
We are proud to recognize the hard work, commitment, and perseverance of our middle school students who earned Honor Roll status for second quarter. Your dedication to learning and growth reflects strong habits, personal responsibility, and a commitment to doing your best every day.

Cheerleader of the Week 🌟
We’re back in the new year and starting it off by celebrating our youngest squad member — Meika! 💜
As a freshman, Meika has been on the quieter side, but we’ve absolutely loved watching her come into her own as the season has gone on. She’s sweet as sugar, kind, and such a steady presence on the team.
Between dance, volleyball, band, choir, and cheer, she balances it all with grace, and we’re so excited for the future seasons ahead as we continue to watch her grow, gain confidence, and shine even brighter.
We’re so proud of you, Meika — this is just the beginning! ✨📣

Middle school SAIL students were responsible for creating minute-to-win-it style games. It was a fun process but also a great learning opportunity for understanding how to relay clear instructions. Boy, do we have some competitive participants as well!

AGWSR will be hosting our annual Career Fair on Wednesday, January 28 from 8:30 am -11:00 am. Our Career Fair is for Juniors and Seniors, and we welcome any businesses that are interested in participating. If you are interested, please reach out to Ginger Williams at gwilliams@agwsr.org.
AGWSR has many students who are interested in working, or attending trade programs following graduation. We are creating a database that will give businesses the ability to connect their opportunities with our students. If you are hiring, offering internships, job shadow opportunities, tuition assistance or other benefits that could help our students learn necessary employability skills, please contact Ginger Williams, the AGWSR High School Counselor. Your information will be added to the AGWSR Jobs & Internship database, and hopefully we can connect you with future employees!! You can reach Ginger at AGWSR High School 641-847-2633 or gwilliams@agwsr.org.
