Thursday's (3/28) Girls Golf meet in Ackley vs HD-CAL will now start at 3:45 instead of 4:15.

AGWSR music department was well represented today at the UNI Treble Clef Festival. Seven girls, grade 7-9 joined.with other singers to create a 270 member choir. They got to sing in the great hall which is an amazing experience!! Way to represent!!

Let us take care of your dinner tonight (Monday, March 25th). The Little Cougar Playhouse Board invites everyone to attend/support the Little Cougar Playhouse Pork Loin Supper tonight from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Wellsburg Attendance Center. The supper is carried out only (drive-through or pick-up at the daycare in Wellsburg). The supper will consist of pork loin, cheesy potatoes, green beans, apple sauce, and a mini pie (we have a variety of flavors for you to choose from). The cost is a free-will donation. All proceeds from the supper go back to the daycare to provide for our daycare and preschool students' needs and maintain reasonable childcare rates for our community. The 2024 Spring Book Fair has arrived at the AGWSR Ackley Building School Library for Spring Conferences! Sales will begin on Thursday, the 21st at 2pm and will go through Monday, the 25th at 8pm. Families are welcome to shop during Conference times 2pm-8pm. Students are welcome to shop during the days on Friday, the 22nd and Monday, the 25th. E-wallets are a great way to help your student shop if you are unable to be at their Conferences. Cash, credit cards, or checks are also accepted throughout the duration of the fair. E-wallets can also be earmarked toward teachers, other loved ones, and even to the Library. If you would like to set up an E-wallet as a donation to any of the above and/or toward anonymous students who may not be able to afford books - you are welcome to do that, as well! PLEASE NOTE: E-wallets MUST be set up before the end of the day on Friday, the 22nd to be eligible for use through Monday. Check the library website, www.agwsrlibrary.org if you are looking for more information concerning the Book Fair and/or setting up an E-Wallet ALL profits go towards books and materials for the students and classrooms of AGWSR through the school library program!! Mrs. Brekunitch - AGWSR Library Associate - has been reading "The Shape of Me and Other Stuff" by Dr. Seuss this past week. After listening to the story, the students practiced their tracing skills with fun foam shapes! Literacy + Physical Skill Building = Positive Practice!

Happy Pi Day! Students in 7th and 8th grade celebrated today by eating pie and playing different pi inspired activities. Check out next month's Cougar Track's article for more details about how we celebrated the irrational number pi!
