This week we’re shining the spotlight on Kami 🤍
New to cheer this year as a junior and already making it look like she’s been here all along. With her dance background, Kami has caught on so quickly and jumps into everything with confidence and grace. She’s always smiling, always encouraging her teammates, and never hesitates to hop in and try something new.
We are beyond grateful to have her energy, positivity, and heart on this team. So excited she took the leap into cheer and we can’t wait to see what next year brings for her ✨📣

The 6th grade SAIL class was excited to explore Makey Makeys which relies on closed circuitry and using conductive objects. The lunch ladies were sweet to share carrots with us in the first trial. The students moved to quarters and then conductive pencils to control the computer as well as make music. They aren't even done exploring yet but I heard the word "fun" mentioned multiple times in the learning process!

The AGWSR Jr. Class is hosting a "Free Will Offering SOUP Supper" tonight.
Soup starts at 5pm and goes until 8pm. We will also be offering a raffle for a Three Layer Chocolate Cream Filled Cake by Deanna Nederhoff and a Triple Chocolate Cheesecake by Sandra Swieter!
Winners will be announced during half time of the boy's game!

These 3rd grade SAIL kiddos were busy assembling mini bots. The boys finished their doodle bot and had fun playing with it! Gracie is working on a conveyor belt. It will be neat to use once finished!

The District has seen an uptick in illnesses since returning from Winter Break. Every building has increased it's cleaning and sanitizing practices to help reduce the spread. We need your help though!
Please keep your child home if*:
--Their temperature by any method, is 100.3 or above
--Nausea, Vomiting, or Diarrhea are present
--They're experiencing body aches or fatigue
--As directed by a provider
Local providers are recommending to be seen if symptoms are lasting more than 3 days or are worsening.
Your child may return when*:
--They are fever free for 24-hours without the use of over-the-counter medication
--Has not had any vomiting or diarrhea for 24-hours
--Symptoms are improving and they feel well enough to actively participate
--As directed by a provider

January 16th, 2026 will be JH recognition night during halftime of varsity games. Girls will be announced during girls varsity game and that will start at 7:15. Boys during the boy's varsity game.
Players will be granted free admission but guardians will need to pay.

When asked in 1st grade SAIL what these kiddos wanted to learn next, they said multiplication! With the coloring sheet and graph paper, they were able to explore groupings to understand multiplication facts! Way to go!
