Super proud of these students! While 3rd grade SAIL designed their own tree houses, 4th grade SAIL designed their own businesses. Today, they had the opportunity to practice their presentation skills by sharing their projects to the class. Never an easy task, but the kiddos did great!

The AGWSR 7th/8th Grade LITQUEST Teams met at the Clear Lake Surf Ballroom: "The Palms" for the 2nd Annual LITQUEST Championship! This year, SIX schools were included in the competition hosted by AGWSR and Okoboji Schools. Among the districts represented, fourteen teams participated in solving puzzles, a written test based on a list of 18 books, and a random book facts buzz in game.
Students were encouraged to get to know each other through icebreakers and group collaborations. Students also enjoyed pizza from the Clear Lake OP!
Though we didn't come away with a medal this year, we did get a unique opportunity to walk through the Surf Museum and experience the iconic history that it is known for.
Most importantly, there was a lot of learning and a whole lot of laughs!

The 8th graders collected data, graphed it and created a trend line to determine the amount of rubber bands needed. What a great way to celebrate the end of a fantastic school year! 🥳🎉

The Kindergarten classes had a great time on their field trip to the Youth Pavilion today!
The 4th graders enjoyed a day of learning about bike safety and then getting the opportunity to bike to Prairie Bridges. While at Prairie Bridges we celebrated their graduation from elementary school with a lunch and some fun activities of gaga ball, volleyball, football, rock painting, bracelet making, and making slushie lemonade with a bike blender. Lastly they got to take a picture with their class tree!

ON TO STATE!!! Aniya Vogel officially punched her ticket to State! She placed 3rd today at the Regional Final Meet in New Sharon shooting a fantastic 87! Earned her way to the State Tournament next week! Hard work pays off, congrats Aniya!! ⛳️

They also made the boards, game pieces, materials, and the math problems that were used for the game. They had to play the game themselves to make sure it worked. After that, students got to play others' games!
