My name is Koby Capper, and I am excited to join the AGWSR team as the K-12 TAG teacher! On my free time, I love to hang out with my boys!

Hello Cougar Country, my name is Caden Sporleder. I am the new Agriculture Teacher and Co-FFA Advisor in the school district. I recently graduated from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!) I enjoy watching sports, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and being active. I am excited for the school year, and to be a part of the school district and community! Go Cougars!!

Happy Wednesday Cougars! I'm Joel Thiessen and I'll be filling in as the long-term substitute at the high school for Biology this year! This will be my second full year at AGWSR High School, where I've also been a para-educator and the LAIR Associate. I had also worked as a substitute teacher before joining the Cougar team. I love hanging out with my dog, building Lego, and anything sports related. I'm also super excited to be helping out with the football team this year! It's going to be a great year and I look forward to working with your students!!

What a great three days of basketball camp with Adam Viet! We were honored to have Adam come back and host a camp at AGWSR! The kids had fun and learned a lot!

Cougar Cheer spent time with M & M Elite Athletics working on stunting & tumbling skills, some jumps and kick line skills.....long hours of hard work & these girls still had a positive attitude, kept laughing, & working together as one team. I am so proud of them! True Cougar Spirit! You will have to wait to see the stunts though!!! Make sure to come help these ladies cheer on our teams this year!

Swing by the AGWSR Middle School Cafeteria on August 21 from 4:00–7:30 PM for a meal during Back-to-School Night. Simple, quick, and family-friendly, because we know it’s a busy night!

Reminder that all student-athletes must have an active athletic physical turned into the school in order to participate. For the high school, starting on August 11, if a student is out for a Fall activity and they do NOT have an active physical turned in, the student CANNOT participate in practice or contests until an updated physical is turned into the school. For the middle school, the same regulations will be followed starting on August 25.

The AGWSR wrestling camp scheduled for August 4th and 5th will be postponed. Possible makeup dates of November 7th and 8th are being considered.
