We're thrilled to welcome Mr. Nederhoff to AGWSR! 🎉 With a diverse and impressive educational background, including a BA in Digital Media from Dordt University, a BS in Chemistry Education from the University of Northern Iowa, and an MS in Physical Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University, Mr. Nederhoff is ready to bring his passion for science to our high school students.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. Nederhoff enjoys building computers, launching model rockets, leading the church praise team, and playing and singing instrumental music 🎶🚀. He's also an avid follower of the latest in Chemistry news.

🌟 Meet Mrs. Ashley Sires - Our New PK-5 Cougar’s Den & Ackley Elementary Principal! 🌟
We are excited to welcome Mrs. Sires to the AGWSR team! 🎉 With a rich educational background from Luther College and the University of Northern Iowa, she brings extensive experience in Psychology, Elementary Education, Early Childhood, and Special Education. Mrs. Sires has served in various roles, from Special Education teacher and Director at Dunkerton CSD to Regional Administrator at Central Rivers Area Education Agency.
When she's not leading students and staff, you'll find her enjoying the great outdoors—whether it's golfing, gardening, running, or spending time on the river 🌳⛳. She's also an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan, especially during basketball season, and loves traveling to the mountains or the beach.

We're excited to welcome Miss Bailey to the AGWSR family! 🎉 A proud graduate of Upper Iowa University, she brings a some experience, including two years in special education and a year teaching 3rd grade. Now, she's ready to inspire our 1st graders!
When she's not in the classroom, you can catch her at the race tracks with her family 🏁. She expressed excitement about seeing growth in her students (Especially light bulb moments) and mastering the curriculum this school year!

🎉 Cougar Shoutout! 🎉
A huge shoutout to Henry, a soon-to-be 6th grader, for his incredible initiative and hard work! For his 4-H project, Henry created a Cougar Care Station, stocked with essential items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, bandaids, hair ties, and more. Thanks to his dedication, he secured a $1000 grant from POET to expand this wonderful project and create more Cougar Care Stations for our Middle School classrooms.
Henry's efforts embody the Cougar Way with respect, responsibility, and teamwork. Thank you, Henry, for your outstanding contribution to our school community! It's going to be an amazing school year!
