Homecoming week means Tailgating games in PE! Many students are also enjoying the new frisbee golf course set up around the baseball and softball complex!

AGWSR Special Ed Team receives $1,500 in funding from Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation to replace leveled readers at the elementary!

AGWSR had a busy weekend! It started off with dairy cattle judging in Manchester then onto parking cars at the Geneva Market and lastly to wrap up the weekend the petting zoo in Morrison!



Students in Iowa Ag took some time today to learn more about judging dairy food products. Students identified different types of milk, cheese, and other dairy products. 🥛🧀





AGWSR 8th Grade STEM Enrichment Students have been enjoying architecture through building a house of cards and exploring the science of trajectory through pinball machine experimentation.
*Fun Fact: Bryan Berg holds many records for building card houses... and he's from IOWA!






Reading happens everywhere at AGWSR!

As a brainstorming activity in preparation for their argumentative essays, the Advanced Composition students held their first student-led Socratic Seminar to academically discuss the implications of plagiarism.




The AGWSR FFA Chapter held their first meeting of the school year yesterday during X-Block. The meeting agenda was full of upcoming events and opportunities for students to be involved in. Stay tuned the next couple of weeks to see what FFA members are up to! #AGWSRstrong

Reminder: HS Volleyball scheduled for Thursday 8/31 at Gladbrook-Reinbeck, JV will play from 3:30-4:30 and varsity will start at 5 PM.
Blessed to have 11 total managers/stats/filmers breaking down film for the football team this season. Shout out to the six learning how to break down film for the coaches from 5-6 PM last night!


The 6th graders worked on being team players while building cup towers. Students moved the cups with a rubber band and strings.
