Cougar Connection is our K-5 Parent/Teacher Organization at AGWSR. Funds raised from various annual events help support field trips, classroom supplies, school assemblies, and teacher appreciation.
Veterans Day Program held on 11/10/23 at the AGWSR High School.
Congratulations to the 11 high school band members that participated in our NICL Conference Honor Band. They played a great concert on Tuesday night at A-P.
2 students had fun spending paw points to have hot chocolate with a teacher!! 😁
Eighth grade FACS students made pumpkin bars this week. Students chose Mr. Reuter, Mrs. Simon, and Mrs. Riebkes as judges for their baking contest. Congratulations to kitchen group #1 for winning this round! Stay tuned for more updates on our contest!

Congrats to Cora, Ella, and Hadley for representing AGWSR so well this past Saturday at the NCIBA Middle School Honor Band. Approximately 200 area students were selected to perform in Algona last Saturday and our musicians did very well! Thanks for your dedication and congrats an this achievement!!

The AGWSR Student Council and Boys Basketball team are sponsoring a Food Drive Competition with the 3rd hour classes at the high school. Please remind your students to participate Nov 15-17!! The winning class gets a pizza party. The kids have all the details in their email!

Tonight the AGWSR Choir is hosting one of the NICL Vocal festivals. We will be sharing the stage with the choirs from Denver, Hudson, and South Hardin. The concert is at 7pm. Admission is $5. Come join us for a great night of choral music.
Members of the cast of Little Women went to Ackley Library's After School Friends to perform for them Wednesday afternoon. We were excited to share part of our show with them.
Join the cast and crew of AGWSR's production of Little Women tonight and tomorrow night at 7pm. Tickets are $5 at the door. Tonight's production includes a dessert bar by the AGWSR food's class. We are very excited to show off all our hard work!

NAMI Central Iowa is pleased to announce the NAMI Family-to-Family Education Program free of charge to participants, beginning November 9t the Friendship Club in Iowa Falls. Located at 602 S Oak St. We meet Thursday from 3 – 5 pm.
