Bike Rodeo for third graders!
The 8th graders enjoyed their big field trip today! We started the morning with bowling at Maple Lanes, ate lunch at Tokyo Bay, and finished the day with iceskating at Young Arena. There were so many laughs and smiles throughout the whole day. Many staff members complimented their kindness and manners!
4/26 AGWSR HS Boys track meet at Eldora has been canceled.
Congratulations to senior Abby Veld as she competed at the 2024 Drake Relays. Abby finished 6th in the shot put and 10th in the discus. Good luck the rest of the season to Abby and the all the members of the AGWSR Spring sports teams!
Due to weather and scheduling conflicts we didn't get to have our end of the year Speech Awards night. So today during XBlock today we celebrated our speech season! Thanks to all the parents, teachers, administrators and the Cougar Booster Club for supporting us! We truly appreciate it!
The AGWSR HS Battle of the Books teams worked hard all year to fight their way to the Central Rivers AEA State Tournament! One team made it!
The Benchwarmers ended up 15th over 44 teams overall this year.

AGWSR FFA members had a very successful State FFA Convention last week. Members received their Iowa Degree, performed in the talent show, sang in the FFA Choir, participated in Poultry Judging, and so much more!
11 High Schoolers attended the Build My Future day at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Students were able to meet with industry professionals in many different trades and professions. This was a fun and interactive day for all students involved.
💰💲Thanks to Mimi and Alayna from Peoples Savings Bank for coming and talking to the 7th graders about needs vs wants, budgeting and how to save money! 💲💰
▪️🔺7th graders constructed 3D figures with play-doh then used floss to identify the 2D shape made with parallel and perpendicular cross sections to the base. Such a fun activity! 🔺▪️
