• 2024–25: 94.74%
• 2025–26 (to date): 96.5%
📉 Chronic Absenteeism
• 2023–24: 20.48%
• 2024–25: 13.1%
🎯 District Goals for 2025–26
• Daily attendance: 95% or higher
• Chronic absenteeism: 10% or less
We are only a few weeks into the year, but these early results show the power of what we can achieve together. Every day in school matters: for learning, growth, and future opportunities.

Retakes will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at both the Ackley and Wellsburg campuses.
We are excited to share our Homecoming Dress-Up Days for this year! We’ve taken feedback from past years about the confusion that came with each building having different dress-up days, and we worked towards better clarity by aligning them across the district. Cougars! Out of an abundance of caution, the FFA trip scheduled for tomorrow, September 18, 2025, has been postponed due to the recent outbreak of Legionnaires' Disease in the Marshalltown area. The safety of our Cougars and their families comes first. A new date and location will be shared once confirmed.
Today in Cougars' Critical Thinking class, Mrs. Schipper's 2nd grade scientists conducted a Skittles experiment. First they made a hypothesis, and then they recorded their findings!

There has been a late scrimmage added for the JJV Volleyball team at Aplington-Parkersburg tomorrow 9/11 starting at 5:30. It is considered a frosh/JJV scrimmage. There will be no admissions or concessions in the building, however the concession stand at the football field will be open if spectators wish to get something.
