🏃Battle of the Grades Track Practice today! 🏃🏽♀️
Each grade level created their own lineup and learned how strategic track can be!📈
Congrats to the 8th graders on the win! 🥇 🏆

Here’s a look at how we celebrated our amazing staff this week at AGWSR Wellsburg Center!
Cougar Impact, our Middle School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), went above and beyond, turning Teacher Appreciation Week into Educator Appreciation Week and recognizing every staff member in the Wellsburg Building with daily surprises and support.
Daily Highlights:
Monday: 5 dozen cookies personally donated by Kristi Berghuis — thank you!
Tuesday: Tenderloins and fries from the Fatties food truck
Wednesday: Chex Mix, snacks, and pop
Thursday: 5 dozen cinnamon rolls from Deanna Nederhoff
Friday: Grand Theatre movie tickets, popcorn, and candy to kick off the weekend
Behind the Scenes Fun:
Staff secretly voted on an Undercover Dress Up Week, keeping students on their toes with surprise themes each day:
Monday: Blackout Day (mourning the weekend)
Tuesday: Anything But a Cup (think fish bowls, rain gauges, even a drum)
Wednesday: Hat Day... but also Dress Like Mr. Reuter Day—a surprise even for him!
Thursday: Dress Like the Students Day (hoodies, slides, and being “low-key sigma” all day. Know what I’m saying, bruh?)
Friday: Sunglasses and Selfies Day
Thanks again to Cougar Impact for making the week fun, thoughtful, and full of surprises. We’re lucky to have this kind of support in our school community.

Special Shout-out to Cougar Impact for sponsoring field trips! The 8th grade class enjoyed their big field trip on Friday, and they had a blast! Over 60% of the students had never been to Tokyo Bay or tried ice skating before. It was wonderful to give them the opportunity to experience something new. This group will be truly missed at the middle school next year.
