Cougar Nation

In Cougars' Critical Thinking, kindergarteners worked on helping their butterflies camouflage in the classroom to avoid being eaten by the bird. Thanks to Mrs. Oldenburger and Mrs. Meyer who played the bird in each room. We won't say which bird won, but it did get a little competitive, and the kiddos enjoyed seeing if their butterfly survived or not.

The following information is to shed light on each grade levels "contribution" towards our annual AGWSR Prom night. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Beth Janssen and/or Mrs. Desi Holmgaard.

Thank you from Cougar Connection!

Last week all the 4th graders got to be apart of a farm chat zoom to see what riding in a combine and harvesting corn was like. Thank you to North Central Iowa Ag in the Classroom for providing this opportunity!

Today our AGWSR teachers came together as a team for ongoing learning and to aim to sharpen one of the most impactful practices in education, clarity. When students know what they’re learning, why it matters, and what success looks like, achievement improves. Clear teaching creates confident learners.

✨ Cheerleader of the Week: Brynn! ✨ This week we’re celebrating Brynn — she gave her all trying out for All-State Cheer (and in our eyes, she’s still an All-Star 🌟)! Brynn juggles two sports, keeps up her tumbling and jumps, and always brings the energy, spirit, and smile that light up our sidelines. 💜💙 She makes it all look easy — but we know it takes heart, hustle, and hard work. We’re so proud of you, Brynn! 👏🎀 #CougarPride #CheerleaderOfTheWeek #AllStarInOurEyes
