Due to the weather this week, we have not been able to do window painting at area businesses. We will not be able to get that in this year because of scheduling issues. We will try again next year. Thank you to all the businesses that reached out to be a part of this new tradition! We appreciate your continued support of our students!
To accomodate for the weather, the homecoming game on Friday 9/18 will kickoff at 5:30 PM.
There will be no Powder Puff or Wednesday evening Homecoming activities tonight. There will be an attempt to play Powder Puff next week.

Powder Puff plans for tonight are as follows:
The girls powder puff games will be changed to dodgeball and will be played inside in the gym with a 6:30 pm start time. The games will still be Senior vs Sophomore, Junior vs Freshmen, then the two winning teams.

We are trying to work out a plan for high school window painting, but Mother Nature isn't cooperating so we will get to it when the weather allows it. We may not get able to get to it this year, but we are keeping our fingers crossed.
Our middle school staff definitely understood the assignment for Album Cover Day 🎶💿From throwback classics to iconic artists, everyone had a little too much fun bringing their favorite album covers to life 🤣 We may be teachers by day, but today we were ready to go on tour! 🎤

Time for candy experiments! For Cougars Critical Thinkers (CCT), Mrs. Schipper's class created a hypothesis for what the Skittles would do once water was added. Several had correct ideas while others were pleasantly surprised by the results!

It was a great day to be a Cougar! Be sure to take in all of our school events this week from Junior High to High School and supports these kids! Sad that we couldn’t get Powder Puff in but hopefully another day this week will work out. Our pep rally & coronation turned out either way. What a great homecoming court we have, and congrats to our 2026 Homecoming King Owen Penning and Homecoming Queen Kami Willems.
Students in Ms. Brinker's Chemistry in Everyday Life class learned about the chemistry behind making slime. They got to test out their findings by trying their own formula and procedure!
The 7th grade SAIL explored the Makerspace by creating wiggle bots. Naturally, there were some common features that were required but these kiddos created their own unique designs. They switched out wheels to explore the different marker patterns. One force we were introduced to was centrifugal force. Now they are working on modifications to have the wiggle bots move in a straight line.
The field is looking game-day ready for next weeks Homecoming high school football game thanks to Scallon's Lawn Care! Come out next Friday, Sept. 18th, to cheer on the Cougars as they go head-to-head against West Fork🏈🏈
