Middle School: SEPTEMBER LEAD COUGARS
⭐ Addyson R (5th) is always doing the job that is asked of her! She is kind to her peers and to all adults. She helps others, especially within her pod, when they need any type of help during the school day. 💜🐾
⭐ Grayson G (5th) every time he is in class he is positive, kind, and thoughtful to those around him! He is always willing to work with his classmates and doesn’t get upset if he isn’t paired with a friend. He follows classroom expectations regularly. 💜🐾
⭐ Jase W (5th) always has a smile on her face and is ready to participate in class activities. She shows kindness to others and handles difficult situations with grace and poise. She is a delight to have in class! 💜🐾
⭐Maci is a kind young lady who consistently demonstrates teamwork and respect for those around her. She works hard, actively participates in classroom discussions, and shows responsibility by completing her work on time. Her positive attitude and dedication make her a wonderful role model for her peers. 💜🐾
⭐ Bella D (6th) consistently demonstrates teamwork and respect for those around her. She works hard, actively participates in classroom discussions, and shows responsibility by completing her work on time. Her positive attitude and dedication make her a wonderful role model for her peers. 💜🐾
⭐ Max S (6th) is always engaged in everything happening in class. He gets involved through active discussion and shows leadership qualities by offering his viewpoint on topics. He follows the Cougar Way expectations and is a great peer helper! 💜🐾
⭐ Cody B (7th) is always willing to help out classmates, asks questions, and is involved in classroom discussions! 💜🐾
⭐ Gwen A (7th) shows kindness to all classmates. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone has a partner to work with and helps others if the work is difficult. She truly demonstrates the Cougar Way every day. She goes out of her way to be helpful and inclusive with classmates, reads to those who struggle, and helps them with their writing, too. 💜🐾
⭐ Olivia F (7th) works well with her peers and makes a concerted effort to do her portion of group work. If she has been absent, she is very responsible about getting her work turned in or made up. 💜🐾
⭐ Brielle M (8th) shows leadership skills. In study hall, she always gets right down to doing her homework. When her work is done, she finds something else quiet to do. A great example of what study hall should look like. 💜🐾
⭐ Emersyn H (8th) has started off the year super strong in so many ways! She tried a new sport and has shown to be a fast learner and a great teammate. She encourages others to try their best. In the classroom, she is always willing to help fellow students. Although she is very involved in sports, band, and choir — and doesn’t have a lot of free time — she uses her time wisely and stays on top of her grades. Great job! 💜🐾

The 4th graders had a busy day today! First we got the opportunity to
visit the Parkersburg Airport today to learn about crop dusting. Afterwards we headed to McDonalds for lunch, and then we enjoyed the show Mr. C: The World in Motion at Gallagher Bluedorn.

The Kindergarten classes and their friends had a blast during Homecoming week’s Rhyming Day! Can you guess the rhyming word pairs some of them came up with?
