Dear AGWSR Community;

Based on preliminary election results, the bond referendum for the AGWSR Community School District received approximately 55% support, so did not reach the 60% approval required to pass on Tuesday, November 4. As a result, the district will not move forward with the proposed projects at this time.

The $12.76 million bond proposal would have addressed critical infrastructure needs across the district, including classroom renovations, HVAC and electrical improvements, new bus barns, and a multipurpose activities and recess facility. While the measure was not approved, we remain committed to maintaining safe and effective learning environments for our students. The district and school board will continue to explore and identify potential solutions to address these facility needs in the months ahead.

In the meantime, thank you for your consideration of the bond referendum on the ballot November 4 and for your continued support of our students and schools.

We would also like to congratulate board members elected yesterday; Gabby Fistler, Michael Janssen, and Eric Olson!

Sincerely,

Ben Petty

Superintendent
