School Owned Instruments

The school owns various instruments for students to use based on needed instrumentation for different ensembles. The most commonly used school-owned instruments that are loaned out are: tenor saxophone, bari saxophone, french horn, tuba, sousaphone, and percussion equipment. Students who play school owned instruments have a yearly rental fee of $50 if the student does NOT own a comparable instrument, such as owning a trumpet but playing saxophone. A yearly fee of $40 applies to students that DO own a comparable instrument, such as owning an alto sax, but renting a tenor sax. Students should talk to Mr. Winkey about the possibility of playing a school owned instrument.
